Dirk van Braeckel (born February 19th, 1958 in Deinze), is a Belgian car designer and the current head of design at Bentley Motors.

Throughout his career he has worked for Ford, Audi, Škoda and Bentley.

Van Braeckel created amongst others, the Bentley Continental GT and he the Škoda Octavia and Fabia models.

In 2008, van Braeckel was awarded the European Automotive Design Award by Designers (Europe).
